By accessing or using the Subfit website and web application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.
2. "As-Is" Provision and No Warranty
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We make no representations or warranties that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that timecode adjustments or format conversions will satisfy any specific broadcaster, streaming service, or regulatory requirement.
3. User Responsibility & File Backups
You are exclusively responsible for maintaining secure backup copies of your original subtitle and media files before utilizing Subfit. Under no circumstances will Subfit or its maintainers be liable for any loss of data, corrupted timecodes, or formatting discrepancies.
You affirm and represent that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to process, edit, convert, and translate any subtitle content you submit to the application.
4. Non-Affiliation Disclaimer
Subfit is an independent open-source project. Subfit is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by VLC, VideoLAN, YouTube, Netflix, Google, Cloudflare, or any third-party media player or platform mentioned for format compatibility purposes. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
5. Service Modifications & Availability
We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice or liability.
